Dr. Barnes (1)

Dr. Kristen Barnes

Dr. Barnes grew up as a part of the Oldham county community, starting as a Goshen Gator, and later a University of Louisville Cardinal, where she earned degrees in Biology and Psychology. She graduated from St. George’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She has been lucky to love and care for a number of rescue dogs and bunnies through the years, and adopted her first visually impaired kitten while in vet school, with a second abandoned cat joining the family a few years later. Dr. Barnes has volunteered with World Vets, providing care for dogs, cats, and carriage horses in underserved countries including Nicaragua, and enjoys traveling, reading, and relaxing with family and friends. She is dedicated to caring for your beloved pets as if they are her own, with special interests in preventative wellness, senior pet care, and hospice and palliative care. She is grateful to be a part of the Goshen Animal Clinic family!
